Maynilad announces possible service interruptions in Metro Manila, Imus


West zone concessionaire Maynilad Water Services Inc. on Monday announced possible service interruptions in Metro Manila and Cavite this week.

In several advisories posted via social media, Maynilad said customers can expect low pressure to no water supply in the following areas:

Caloocan City

June 7 (1 p.m. to 9 p.m.)

Low pressure to no water supply due to high water demand in Bagbag Reservoir

Affected areas: Barangays 6, 8, 10 to 12, 53 to 55, 77, 78, 80, 81, 83 to 99, 101 to 103, 105 to 107, 109 to 116, 122 to 136, 138 to 142, 144 to 147, 150, 151, 161, 164, Balingasa, and San Jose.

 

Malabon City

June 7 (1 p.m. to 9 p.m.)

Low pressure to no water supply due to high water demand in Bagbag Reservoir

Affected areas: Barangays 161, Concepcion, Dampalit, Hulong Duhat, Ibaba, Longos, Maysilo, Panghulo, Potrero, San Agustin, Santolan, Tanong, and Tonsuya

 

Paranaque City

June 7 (1 p.m.) to June 8 (1 a.m.)

Low pressure to no water supply due to high water demand in Bagbag Reservoir

Affected areas: Barangays BF Homes, BF International/CAA, and San Pedro.

 

June 9 (6 a.m.) to June 9 (9 p.m.)

Facility maintenance activity in Putatan Water Treatment Plant 1

Affected areas: BF Homes, Don Bosco (Aeropark, Dona Soledad Ext., Russia, Saudi Arabia), Marcelo Green (Sampaguita Ave., Marcelo Phase 8), San Antonio (along Dr. A. Santos, Goodwill 3, Soreena, Meliton), and San Martin De Porres.

 

June 9 (4 p.m.) to June 10 (12 midnight)

Facility maintenance activity in Putatan Water Treatment Plant 1

Affected areas: Don Bosco (Malacanang Subdivision, Remmanville Executive Subdivision, Sta. Magdalena St.), Marcelo Green (Remaining Barangay Marcelo Green areas along Marcelo Avenue), Merville, Moonwalk, San Antonio (San Antonio Valleys, Welcome Village), and San Isidro.

 

Pasay City

June 9 (4 p.m.) to June 10 (12 midnight)

Facility maintenance activity in Putatan Water Treatment Plant 1

Affected areas: Barangays 181 to 185, and 201

 

Imus City

June 7 (3 p.m.) to June 8 (5 a.m.)

Low pressure to no water supply due to high water demand in Aguinaldo Pumping Station

Affected areas: Barangays Anabu II-C, Anabu II-C (south of Aanghari), Anabu II-E, Anabu II-F, Malagasang I-D to Malagasang I-F, Malagasang II-A to Malagasang II-D, Malagasang II-F, and Malagasang II-G.

 

June 9 (10 p.m.) to June 10 (3 a.m.)

Low pressure to no water supply due to network maintenance along Villa Nicasia

Affected areas: Barangay Tanzang Luma II and areas bounded by Villa Nicasia III, Better Life Subdivision.

 

Maynilad currently serves customers in the west zone which covers the cities of Caloocan, Las Piñas, Makati, Malabon Manila, Muntinlupa, Navotas, Parañaque, Pasay, Quezon, Valenzuela. It also services certain areas in Cavite such as the cities of Bacoor, Cavite, and Imus; and the towns of Kawit, Noveleta, and Rosario.

Shares in Metro Pacific Investments Corp., Maynilad's parent company, closed Monday up by 2 centavos or 0.49% at P4.07 apiece.—AOL, GMA News
