ASUS, Edukasyon.ph team up to launch education partnership program to aid in distance learning


Education technology platform Edukasyon.ph and computer and electronics multinational ASUS teamed up in establishing an education partnership program to aid educators keep up with teaching tools amid the new online learning setup.

In a statement, Edukasyon.ph said distance learning is proving to be challenging as recent data shows that only 28% of Filipino students believe they are prepared for distance learning.

Teachers are, likewise, experiencing equal, if not greater, challenges compared to their students, the education technology platform said.

Wit this, Edukasyon.PH and ASUS are teaming up through the ASUS Edukasyon School Partner Program to provide educators with the technology and training materials they need to keep teaching and guiding students through the new online setup.

Part of the program will provide school administrators and technicians up-to-date technology and all-around support, according to Edukasyon.ph.

The program includes cloud-based applications to supply the need for collaborative learning and cybersecurity ware to keep important records and student data safe.

“By working closely with the IT departments of each school, we can be sure that they are equipped with the resources needed to effectively assist teachers and students through the digital shift,” said Rafi Quisumbing, chief technology officer of Edukasyon.PH.

“This year, we are extending our long-term support to the entire education ecosystem with technology that improves productivity and learning outcomes while keeping IT management costs low,” George Su, country manager for ASUS Philippines, said.
