GMA Network announcement on the passing of Atty. Roberto Rafael V. Lucila

It is with profound sadness that GMA Network announces the passing of Atty. Roberto Rafael V. Lucila. He served as the Network’s Corporate Secretary and Compliance Officer.

Atty. Lucila, 65, was the Co-managing Partner/Senior Partner of the Law Firm of Belo Gozon Elma Parel Asuncion & Lucila. He was also a Director in Philippine affiliates of European and American companies in the Philippines. He also served in the Office of the President of the Philippines as Assistant Executive Secretary for Legislation from 1990 to 1992; Chairman of the Presidential Staff in 1991; and occupied concurrent positions in the Department of Transportation and Communications. 

The Board of Directors, management, and employees of GMA Network, Inc. deeply mourn the passing of Atty. Lucila. We pray for the eternal repose of our beloved Kapuso.
