Motorists with EasyTrip can register for Autosweep in January 2023

Motorists may start registering their EasyTrip stickers beginning January 15, 2023 so these may be used at San Miguel Corporation (SMC) tollways, the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) said Friday.

TRB spokesperson Julius Corpuz said the EasyTrip stickers will be allowed for SLEX, Star, Skyway System, NAIAx, TPLEX, and MXC tollways.

“Magagamit na po nila ang kanilang EasyTrip sticker upang makatawid sila dito sa mga San Miguel Corporation tollways. So simula January 15 po ‘yan,” Corpuz said at a public briefing.

(They may use their EasyTrip stickers to cross SMC tollways. So this starts on January 15.)

Corpuz said EasyTrip subscribers may visit Autosweep Customer Service Centers to get registered.

“‘Yan po ang second phase ng ating inter-operability kagaya po ng inyong nabanggit. Sapagkat ang talagang objective po natin ay magkaroon na lang tayo ng one tag, one wallet, in the future, which is phase 3,” he said.

(This is the second phase of our inter-operability effort like what you mentioned. Because our objective is to have one tag, one wallet in the future, which is phase 3.)

“In phase 2, obserbahan po natin ang performance ng crossover nitong EasyTrip into Autosweep at nang maayos po lahat ng posibleng magiging glitches, bago tayo magpatupad na ng phase 3,” he added.
