Cebu Pac to add flights to Butuan, Tagbilaran
MANILA, Philippines- Budget airline Cebu Pacific announced on Thursday that it be adding flights to Butuan and Tagbilaran this summer. In a statement, Cebu Pacific said that starting May 17, it will add a four times a week A319 flight to Butuan (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday). The additional flight departs from Manila at 6:10 am and arrives in Butuan at 7:35 am. It departs from Butuan at 8:05am and lands in Manila at 9:30am on the return flight. The carrier said it will also mount an additional A319 service three times weekly (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) to Tagbilaran. The flight leaves Manila at 6:30 am and lands in Tagbilaran at 7:55 am. The return flight departs for Manila at 8:25 am and arrives at 9:40 am. At present, CEB flies a daily A320 service to Butuan and a twice daily A319 service to Tagbilaran. âWe are confident that we can sell the additional seats with our low fares and further encourage domestic travel to these destinations. We are now the biggest carrier operating the most flights to Butuan and Tagbilaran," said Candice Iyog, CEB vice president for marketing and product. Cebu Pacific flies to 12, soon to be 15, international destinations with the addition of Ho Chi Minh, Hanoi, and Kaohsiung. The airline also operates flights to 21 domestic destinations. - GMANews.TV
