Cebu Pacific adds flights to Hong Kong
MANILA, Philippines- Budget airline Cebu Pacific on Tuesday announced that it will be flying more frequently to Hong Kong starting June 30 due to strong demand for flights to the destination. âThis additional service will make travel to Hong Kong even more convenient. The additional frequency will also allow travelers to visit Hong Kong early in the morning and return to Manila on the same day," Candice Iyog, Cebu Pacific vice president for marketing and product said in a statement. The additional frequency is a 30-percent increase in capacity for Cebu Pacific's Manila-Hong Kong service. Cebu Pacific's first flight will depart at 5:15 am and arrives in Hong Kong at 7:15 am every Monday, Tuesday, and Friday; the return flight leaves Hong Kong at 7:55 am and arrives in Manila at 9:55 am. Meanwhile flights on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday depart for Hong Kong at 5:40 am and land at 7:40 am. The return flight to Manila takes off at 8:25 am and arrives at 10:25 am. With the additional flights, the Gokongwei-owned airline will offer the most number of direct flights to Hong Kong than any other Filipino airline--56 flights weekly to Hong Kong from Manila and 12 flights weekly from Cebu. Starting May 8, Cebu Pacific will also fly from Davao to Hong Kong eight times weekly. Cebu Pacific flies to 12, soon to be 15 international destinations, with the addition of Ho Chi Minh, Hanoi, and Kaohsiung. The airline also has flights to 21 domestic destinations. - GMANews.TV
