PAL announces Independence Day promo fares

Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) on Tuesday announced promotional one-way base fares of P125 for domestic flights and roundtrip international base fares at $79, ahead of the country’s Independence Day.

In an advisory, PAL said the promotional fares will be available for bookings made until June 25, 2023 for flights within the Philippines and Australia, Hong Kong, Guam, Macau, Taipei, Japan, South Korea, Port Morseby, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.

The promo fares will be available until July 4, 2023 for flights to and from the United States and Canada, and from June 19, 2023 to July 2, 2023 for flights to and from Mainland China.

The travel period will vary per destination — from July 1, 2023 onwards for South Korea and Guam, from September 1, 2023 onwards for Hong Kong, Macau, Mainland China, Taipei, and Southeast Asia, from January 15, 2024 for Japan, and from February 1, 2024 for domestic destinations, North America, the Middle East, Port Moresby, and Australia.

“As we focus on our all-out efforts to boost the full recovery of the tourism industry, we hope you will make Philippine Airlines a part of your 2024 travel plans by checking out our affordable promotional fares,” PAL Vice President for Sales Bud Britanico said.

PAL earlier this year said it seeks to operate the largest network of multiple routes between mainland China and the Philippines, as it is set to fly to Jinjiang and Beijing. — DVM, GMA Integrated News
