Makati-based school partners with firms to ensure updated curriculum, job placements


IAcademy has signed 41 new partnership deals with corporations and renewed 12 more in a bid to ensure its curriculum is up to date and help ensure employment for its graduates.

According to the Makati-based school, the institution now has 200 partners from diverse industries, ranging from marketing and finance to technology, game development, and animation. 

Among these partners are marketing services firms McCann and Mullenlowe Treyna; financial services providers Macquarie, Metrobank, and Sunlife; video game publisher Ubisoft, technology corporations ASUS and Huawei, animation production house Toon City, and Unilab pharmaceutical company.

It has also renewed its partnership with animation studio Snipple Animation, and leading global professional services company Accenture.

"We believe in the utmost importance of collaborating with industry leaders to ensure our curriculum stays abreast of the latest trends and development," iAcademy COO Raquel Perez Wong said.

"Our valued partners will contribute subject matter experts for specific sessions, internship opportunities, and, most importantly, job placements," she added.

These new and renewed partnerships are expected to result in internship readiness workshops, seminars, and possible events, student collaborations, and Program Advisory Councils that will supplement the academic journey, bring insights for curriculum enhancement.
