Khoffee Group opens first %Arabica store in PH

Japanese coffee shop brand %Arabica, now under The Khoffee Group, opened its first store in the Philippines at Mitsukoshi Mall in Bonifacio Global City.

The %Arabica store in BGC is also Khoffee Group’s 156th globally.

In a news release, Arabica Philippines and The Khoffee Group chief operations officer Koko Tamura said the coffee brand is banking on Filipino baristas’ "eagerness to learn and naturally warm and friendly personalities."

With this, Tamura said the company is providing local baristas with training, capacities, skill sets, and opportunities.

"Arabica's training program aims to empower Filipino baristas by equipping them with the skills and knowledge, helping them grow and explore wider opportunities", Tamura said.

"The local baristas on our roster right now are our pioneer team. If they want to grow and climb up the ladder to become future supervisors, store managers, and champion baristas, we will support them every step of the way," she said.

She added that %Arabica's dedication to developing Filipino baristas' skills and providing them with opportunities to compete globally "reflects its commitment to providing quality coffee and excellent customer service."

"The company's focus on local baristas' growth and development sets it apart from its competitors and reinforces its position as a global coffee brand with a local heart," Tamura said. —VAL/VBL, GMA Integrated News
