The yearly independent audit is part of the conditions set in the telco's Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity.

Tamano said that DITO passed the Factual Findings from the Conduct of Specified Procedures-Year 4 Committed Levels of Service (CloS) dated August 29, 2023, submitted by R.G. Manabat & Co. to the NTC.

In terms of national population coverage, it was calculated that the telco covers 80.65%.

While with respect to the minimum average broadband speeds (MABS), DITO was clocked at 74.97 Mbps for 4G and 639.32 Mbps for 5G for all sites with combined MABS of 357.14 Mbps.

In 2020, the company committed to cover 84% of the Philippine population and offer a minimum average speed of at least 55 megabits per second by the end of five years.

“This is wonderful news and testament to how far the network of DITO has grown since we started building our first tower in 2019, and fortuitously after OpenSignal, awarded DITO four impressive awards in their latest report: Upload Speed Experience, Availability, Excellent Consistent Quality, and Core Consistent Quality,” said DITO chief technology Officer Rodolfo Santiago. — Ted Cordero/BM, GMA Integrated News
