Borough Lasik Center expands to Cagayan de Oro, General Santos, Bacolod
Eye care and vision correction procedures facility Borough Lasik Center (BLC) is expanding its footprint in the country.
In a statement, BLC said it currently has three branches—one is located in Mall of Asia, Pasay City, another in Iloilo City, and another in Davao City.
The eye laser clinic chain is set to expand to Cagayan de Oro, General Santos City, and Bacolod.
BLC's expansion plan was announced by its CEO, Dr. Ches Heredia, during a ceremony where the lasik center received recognition for having the most number of installations of the Schwind Amaris Excimer Laser in the Philippines.
The Schwind Amaris excimer laser is a high-performance laser system used in refractive surgery to reshape the cornea and correct vision problems such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism.
The recognition to BLC was given by its partner Schwind Eye Tech Solutions Germany and Transmedic Group, the distributor of the laser.
“We continue to strive to provide the best for Filipinos in terms of eye care. With this partnership, we are bringing the best technology and treatment within reach of our countrymen,” said Heredia.
The awarding ceremony was held at the ongoing 6th Asean Ophthalmology Society Congress, which is organized in conjunction with the Annual Congress of the Philippine Academy of Ophthalmology at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. —VBL, GMA Integrated News
