Angkas partners with Pag-IBIG for better house loan options for riders
Ride-hailing firm Angkas has partnered with Pag-IBIG to improve the social safety net for the riders and their families.
According to George Royeca, CEO of Angkas, the partnership will offer accessible and sustainable housing loan options for riders as part of the firm's holistic approach to driver well-being.
"Partnering with Pag-IBIG strengthens our bikers' social safety net. We do this because we recognize their daily efforts on the streets and commitment to delivering quality service to our customers," Royeca said in a news release.
"Our lodi bikers are at the core of our operations. This family day reflects our commitment to providing the help and support they deserve, acknowledging their hard work and dedication. It's also an opportunity for us to listen and discover how we can better serve them," he added.
Angkas recently hosted the Alagang Angkas: Pamilya Weekend at their office in Cainta, Rizal, which offered vital health services for the riders as doctors provided free health screenings, eye exams, and dental checkups.
The participants were also indulged in relaxation, delicious food, and complimentary wellness services such as haircuts, manicures, and massages. —Anna Felicia Bajo/KBK, GMA Integrated News
