PAL opens 2024 with 'flash sale'

Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) welcomed the new year with a one-day seat sale for domestic flights.

"Visit the PAL website booking portal and get the chance to avail of one-way domestic base fares for as low as P148," the airline said.

PAL said the booking for its Ultimate Domestic Flash Sale starts Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2024.

Meanwhile, the travel period for flights booked during the promotion is from Sept. 1 to Dec. 15, 2024.

Flights may be booked through the Philippine Airlines website.

The airline currently operates non-stop flights from its hubs in Manila, Cebu, Clark, and Davao to 33 destinations across the country; and 39 destinations in Asia, North America, Australia, and the Middle East.

PAL—with a fleet composed of Boeing, Airbus, and De Havilland aircraft—last year inked a purchase agreement for nine Airbus A350-1000 long-range aircraft, which will fly its non-stop services from Manila to North America, and potentially Europe. — Ted Cordero, Jon Viktor Cabuenas/ VDV, GMA Integrated News
