Cebu Pacific announces P88 promo fares for 8.8 sale

Budget carrier Cebu Pacific on Wednesday announced promotional one-way base fares for domestic and international flights as low as P88, as part of its 8.8 or August 8 sale.

In an advisory, the carrier said the promotional fares, exclusive of fees and surcharges, will be available from Wednesday, August 7, until next Monday, August 12, with a travel period from October 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025.

Travelers can book flights to domestic destinations such as Davao, General Santos, Kalibo, Zamboanga, and international destinations such as Bangkok, Singapore, Sydney, Taipei, and Tokyo, among others.

Cebu Pacific said travelers can use their existing travel funds to book flights and avail of other add-ons, or use other payment options such as their credit or debit cards and e-wallets.

The company currently operates flights to 35 domestic and 26 international destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.

The carrier last month said it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Airbus that covers firm orders for up to 102 A321neo and 50 A320nwo Family purchase rights, which will be powered by Pratt & Whitney GTF engines.

The company in May said it expects to close the year with 95 aircraft, which will boost its full-year 2024 seat capacity by 12% to 15% compared with 2023. —Jon Viktor D. Cabuenas/KBK, GMA Integrated News
