Bank schedules for Aug. 23, Aug. 26 holidays
Local banks have issued their banking services schedules with most branches closed on Friday, August 23, and Monday, August 26, in observance of Ninoy Aquino Day and the National Heroes’ Day.
In Proclamation No. 665, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. moved the non-working holiday for the martyrdom of former Sen. Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino Jr. from August 21 to August 23, marking a four-day weekend as next Monday is another holiday.
Below are the advisories from banks:
BDO Unibank
Select branches are open on the two holidays.

Bank of the Philippine Islands
All branches are closed on August 23 and August 26; while online and mobile banking channels, ATMs, and cash accept machines will remain available.

Land Bank of the Philippines
All branches are closed on Ninoy Aquino Day and National Heroes’ Day. Digital channels and ATMs will be available to cater to its clients.

Union Bank of the Philippines
Over-the-counter, online check deposits, check releasing, and bills payment services to resume on August 27.

Security Bank
All branches closed on August 23 and August 26.

Metropolitan Bank & Trust Company
All Metrobank branches are closed, except ADB and Pasay-NAIA 3 branches.

Philippine National Bank
Select branches are open on shortened banking hours on August 23 and August 26.

Chinabank PH

All branches closed on Ninoy Aquino Day and National Heroes’ Day.

Development Bank of the Philippines
