Meralco service interruptions from June 15 to 21, 2025

Select customers of the Manila Electric Company (Meralco) are set to experience service interruptions this week, as the power provider is set to undertake maintenance activities.

Below is a list of the affected areas this week:

June 15–16, 2025 - Bulacan (Angat, Doña Remedios Trinidad, San Ildefonso, And San Rafael): Between 11:00 p.m. and 11:59 p.m. (Sunday, 06/15/25) and then between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. (Monday, 06/16/25) - the whole of Circuit Angat 33YT

• Portion of Matias A. Fernando Ave. from Meralco – Angat substation to M. Valte Road including Bgys. Banaban, Baybay, Binagbag, Laog, San Roque, Sta. Cruz, Sta. Lucia and Sto. Cristo in Angat.
• Portion of M. Valte Road from Bgy. Bayabas to and including Bgys. Camachile and Pulong Sampalok in Doña Remedios Trinidad.
• Portion of M. Valte Road from Bgys. Casalat and Sta. Catalina Bata in San Ildefonso to and including Bgys. Pulo, Sapang Pahalang and Tukod in San Rafael.

REASON: Preventive maintenance and testing works inside Meralco - Angat substation.

June 17 and July 17, 2025 - Bulacan (Angat and Pandi): Between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. (Tuesday, 06/17/25) and then between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. (Thursday, 07/17/25) – portion of Circuit Angat 36YT

• Portion of Pandi – Angat Road and Pundicion St. from Cacarong Road in Bgy. Siling Bata, Pandi to Angat – Norzagaray Road including portion of Bgys. Encanto, Paltok, Pulong Yantok, San Roque, Santa Cruz and Taboc in Angat; Bgys. REASON: Replacement of poles along Looban Road in Dagat - Dagatan, Caloocan City.

June 18, 2025 - Cavite (Dasmariñas City): Between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. - portion of Circuit Abubot 39XZ

• The Orchard Golf & Country Club and The Orchard Subd. Phases I, I-A, I-B, II, III & IX in Bgys. Salawag and Salitran I

REASON: Installation, replacement and reconstruction of facilities, and line reconductoring works in The Orchard Subd. in Bgys. Salawag and Salitran I in Dasmariñas City, Cavite.

REASON: Line repair works along San Antonio St. in Paco, Manila.

Meralco constructs, operates, and maintains electric distribution systems in the cities and municipalities of Bulacan, Cavite, Metro Manila, and Rizal, as well as certain areas in the provinces of Batangas, Laguna, Pampanga, and Quezon.

The firm counts as subsidiaries and associates Vantage Energy Solutions and Management Inc. and MeridianX Inc., acting as retail electricity suppliers in Luzon and the Visayas.

Meralco chairman and chief executive officer Manuel Pangilinan in February said he is encouraging management to achieve at least a P50-billion net income this year, which would equate to a rounded-up 10% growth from the P45.1 billion in 2024, the lowest double-digit increase. — Jon Viktor D.
