Cebu Pacific to launch direct Cebu to El Nido flights on October 26

Cebu Pacific will launch direct flights between Cebu and El Nido in October, the budget carrier announced on Wednesday.

Starting October 26, the budget carrier will operate daily flights between Cebu and El Nido via Cebgo (DG). This will be in addition to the direct flights that AirSWIFT now offers on the same route.

“El Nido has long been one of the country’s most sought-after destinations, and soon it will be more accessible to those flying from Cebu and nearby provinces. By adding this route ahead of the holiday season, we are not only strengthening inter-island connectivity but also creating more opportunities for every Juan to discover the best of the Philippines,” said Xander Lao, Cebu Pacific president and chief commercial officer.

Cebu Pacific said passengers may use their existing Travel Funds to book flights and avail of other add-ons. 

The airline added it also offers other payment options, including credit or debit cards and e-wallets. 

The Gokongwei-led carrier currently flies to 37 domestic and 26 international destinations spread across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East. — VBL, GMA Integrated News
