Petron to roll back LPG prices for October 2025

Households will be greeted by cheaper prices of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in October, following the increase implemented this month.

In an advisory, Petron Corp. said it would roll back LPG prices by P1.00 per kilogram effective 12:01 a.m. on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.

“This reflects the international contract price of LPG for the month of October,” the advisory read.

Petron hiked LPG prices by P0.20 per kilogram on September 1.

Meanwhile, Solane announced that it will implement a price decrease of P0.65 per kilogram VAT inclusive at 6 a.m. on the same day.

Cleanfuel will also implement a rollback of P0.50 per liter LPG prices at 8:01 a.m. 

Data from the Department of Energy (DOE) show that prices for an 11-kilogram cylinder ranged from P802.20 to P1,072.20 for the month of September. —VBL/RF, GMA Integrated News
