EastWest Bank nets ₱9.2 billion in 2025, up 21%
Gotianun-led East West Banking Corp. (EastWest) saw a double-digit growth in its net income in 2025.
In a statement, EastWest Bank said it booked a bottom line of P9.2 billion last year, up 21% year-on-year.
The bank said its 2025 financial performance was supported by stronger core revenue generation, double-digit growth in fee-based income, and disciplined focus on operational efficiency.
EastWest Bank also said its revenues grew 20% to P51 billion, on the back of 13% growth in net interest income to P40.6 billion and a 21% rise in fee income to P71 billion.
“Our 2025 performance demonstrates the bank’s ability to grow efficiently amidst a competitive environment and evolving market conditions,” said EastWest Bank president Jackie Fernandez.
