PNB extends P2-B credit, digital payroll solution to Green GSM
Philippine National Bank (PNB) has extended loan financing and digital payroll solution to all-electric ride-hailing firm Green GSM as part of its sustainability and digital transformation efforts.
In a news release on Friday, PNB said it entered into a strategic financing partnership with Green GSM last December 2025, six months after ride-hailing company launched in the country.
The bank said it extended P2 billion in credit facilities to finance Green GSM’s acquisition of a significant number of electric vehicles and for working capital requirements to help accelerate the ride-hailing company’s expansion.
PNB added that it also provided Green GSM with digitally enabled payroll solution through its Corporate Account Portal System (CAPS) and digital tools such as AdobeSign to streamline the onboarding process for driver payroll accounts.
“Our collaboration with PNB has enabled us to scale efficiently while staying true to our mission of delivering sustainable transportation. The Bank’s ability to combine financing with digital solutions has been instrumental in supporting our growth and our drivers,” said Le Thi Thu Trang, CEO of Green GSM Philippines.
“As the transport sector evolves toward more sustainable models, banks play a critical role in enabling this transition. Through our partnership with Green GSM, we are not only financing cleaner mobility solutions but also supporting the ecosystem behind it — from drivers to operations — through efficient, technology-driven banking services,” said PNB president and CEO Edwin Bautista. — BAP, GMA News
