PAL offers 0% installment plan for credit card-booked domestic flights

Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) on Tuesday launched a 0% installment option for domestic flights booked using credit cards.

In a news release, PAL said the plan is in partnership with major banks—including BPI, Metrobank, and HSBC.

The airline said the initiative allows cardholders to split PAL domestic flight bookings into three-month installments at zero interest.

PAL said the 0% interest installment plan for credit cards applies to flights with a minimum spend of P20,000.

The carrier said the installment payment option is now available for all PAL domestic flight bookings through its official website and mobile app.

When booking, passengers can select the installment option at checkout, where they are guided through a secure payment process.

PAL said the Philippine National Bank also joined as a participating partner, with installment options currently available through the airline’s ticket offices.

In addition to the three-month term, the carrier said PNB cardholders may also avail of six-month and 12-month installment payment terms for qualified transactions, subject to applicable minimum spend requirements.

PAL said more bank partners are set to be added in the coming months, expanding access and giving more cardholders the opportunity to avail themselves of the flexible payment option. —VBL, GMA News
