Shell: Retail stations in Luzon back to normal operations

The more than 500 retail stations of Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. in Luzon are back to their normal operations despite the continued closure of the Batangas-Manila petroleum pipeline, the oil giant said Wednesday. Shell said in a statement that its customers can now avail the full range of fuel products — Shell Premium Unleaded, Shell Unleaded, Shell Diesoline Ultra, Shell V-Power, and Shell V-Power Diesel — at its various stations in Luzon. "We have employed various contingency measures to ensure that we fully provide our customers with a safe and reliable supply of fuel," said Bong Fadullon, Shell retail general manager. Shell stations have experienced lack of fuel supply due to the closure of the Batangas-Manila pipeline, determined to be the source of the oil seepage at West Tower Condominium in Makati. — JE/OMG, GMA News
