Robinsons Land to grow hotel business via franchising

Robinsons Land Corp. on Tuesday said it is growing the Go Hotels chain through an expanded franchising deal between franchise holder Vanguard Hotels Pte. Ltd. and Roxaco Land Corp.

 

Vanguard Hotels and Roxaco Land, the property development business of Roxas and Co., will start developing Go Hotels in the next two years, Robinsons Land noted in a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange. 

 

“The partnership aims to build a minimum of 5 Go Hotels over the next 2 years in key strategic locations,” it said.

 

Go Hotels now has 700 rooms, largely in Metro Manila and the Visayas, with three hotels in the pipeline to raise the number of rooms to more than 1,200.

 

Apart from the budget hotel chain, Robinsons Land owns and operates Crowne Plaza Galleria Hotel, Hotel Inn Galleria Manila, Summit Circle Hotel, and Summit Ridge Hotel. – VS, GMA News
