PHLPost allows domestic money transfers for P1

Filipinos wanting to send money to their loved ones during the holidays can now do so for as little as P1 at their local post offices.

The Philippine Postal Corp. said its "Piso Padala Promo" has a flat rate of P1 for domestic money transfers involving amounts of up to P1,000.

"Send your aguinaldo thru PHLPost Pamaskong Handog Piso Padala (Money Transfer Promo)," PHLPost said.

Under the promo, a flat rate of P1 applies to domestic money transfers of up to P1,000.

Transactions are limited to two send transactions a day per sender-per-beneficiary.

If the amount to be remitted goes beyond P1,000, regular rates will apply. — Joel Locsin/LBG,GMA News
