Prices of tilapia, chicken and some vegetables up this week

Prices of select vegetables and tilapia in Metro Manila markets doubled from a week earlier, the Department of Agriculture announced on Tuesday.

 

A fully dressed chicken also posted a P5-increase in prices. On the contrary, prices of medium egg slipped by 50 centavos.

 

Prices of other agriculture products like fruits, fish and pork remained steady.
