Arroyo ally's brod is new PDIC chief

President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo on Monday appointed Jose C. Nograles, Landbank of the Philippines senior vice president and treasurer, as acting president of the Philippine Deposit Insurance Corp. Jose C. Nograles is the brother of Davao Rep. Prospero "Boy" Nograles. He replaces PDIC officer-in-charge Imelda Singzon. Singzon was placed as interim head of PDIC when former president Michael Osmeña died in office this September. Nograles is an alumnus of the Asian Institute of Management where he earned his Masters degree in Business management in 1972. PDIC is a government controlled corporation attached to the Department of Finance. - GMANews.TV
