Areas in QC to lose water for 12 hours

Some areas in Quezon City will have low pressure to no water for 12 hours from January 23 to January 24, Maynilad Water Services Inc. announced Tuesday. In a statement, Maynilad said the cutoff will affect portions of GSIS Village, Sangandaan, areas along Congressional Avenue near EDSA, Congressional Village Phase 2 and 3, and Paradise Village in Quezon City. The cutoff will start 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 23 until 9:00 a.m. the following day, Thursday, January 24, 2008. "The water service interruption is due to the interconnection of a 300-mm ACP line to a 300-mm PVC line at Villa Soccoro corner Congressional, Bahay Toro, Quezon City," Maynilad said.
