For almost a year now in Allianz, Gemini Agency’s Managing Partner (MP) Jeff Garcia learned a lot from being a determined mentee to a reliable mentor himself. He is currently mentoring Agency Leaders and Partners while looking back on his earlier years in the Insurance industry.

MP Jeff’s main priority back then was to be open to new learnings. MP Jeff shares this vision with his Agency Leader (AL) and partner-in-life, Carla Garcia. She is a firm believer that working together can do wonders, “It's really a partnership between us... and I don’t just mean, just me and Jeff, but also Gemini Agency and our clients. What’s more for AL Carla, even if they’ve just been in the company for less than a year, “Allianz has changed my life in so many ways already, both personally and professionally. It has become our second family, our second shot at life.”

AL Carla added that she gets to enjoy the work-life balance by supporting her husband and listening to their mentorship as her Managing Partner. Together, they carry out their plans for Gemini Agency.

Another Agency Leader of Gemini, Noel Andres, analyzes the mix of different perspectives in every mentoring session, “Agency partners come from different backgrounds. I have an Agency Partner who is also a part-owner of another business and we also have incoming partners who are entry-level graduates looking for an opportunity. There’s no such thing as one size fits all in teamwork or in mentoring.”

AL Noel did his best to grasp and understand everything he could “ Joining Gemini Agency has been a roller coaster ride at the start. I had no insurance background, but luckily with the help of our Managing Partner, I came to understand his mindset. For example, the first thing that I like about our agency is the direction of our MP in terms of who the agency is really targeting.”

MP Jeff takes pride in being a reliable mentor of one of the youngest agencies in Allianz, with 90 percent of the partners who are neophytes in the insurance industry, “Even if we're really new in this business, we belong to the top three Allianz agencies nationwide!”
