Shell raises fuel prices by 50 centavos - report

MANILA, Philippines - Shell has imposed a 50-centavo-per-liter increase in the prices of its gasoline, diesel, and kerosene products, according to dzRH radio. DzRH reported that the price increase was effective 12:01 a.m., Saturday. The report quoted Shell spokesman Roberto Kanapi as saying that the hike was due to high oil prices, which rose to a record $111 per barrel.
