DTI lines up entrepreneurship, small business briefing sessions in September
The Department of Trade and Industry's Bureau of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Development will hold free briefing sessions in September to promote entrepreneurship and develop the competitiveness of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
“These free sessions are scheduled every Tuesday to provide a valuable opportunity for the participants to broaden their business knowledge and enhance their entrepreneurial skills,” BMSMED Director Rhodora Leaño said.
Conducting the sessions with BMSMED are DTI agencies including the Philippine Design Center of the Philippines (PDDCP) and the Bureau of Export Trade Promotion (BETP).
Also taking part are private organizations such as the International Marketing Group, Franz Avian Import and Export Co., Wash in the City Laundry and Ultima Entrepinoy.
For September, the sessions will have topics that include:
- September 4: How to prepare a business plan and managing your finances
- September 11: Packaging design awareness and how to be a Halal certified company
- September 18: Orientation on starting water refilling station business and orientation on starting a laundry shop business
- September 25: Skills training on dishwashing, soap perfume and cologne making.
The sessions will conducted from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m. at the BMSMED Training Room, 5/F Trade and Industry Building, 361 Sen. Gil J. Puyat Ave. in Makati City. — ELR, GMA News
