Aquino appoints PNOC-RC, Philexim, LBP Insurance Brokerage board directors

President Benigno Aquino III has appointed board directors to the Philippine National Oil Company-Renewables Corp., the Land Bank of the Philippines Insurance Brokerage Inc., and the Philippine Export-Import Credit Agency. PNOC-RC Aquino appointed Carlos Jose Gatmaitan, Glenda Martinez, Carina Matutina, Antonio Cailao, Mario Taguines (replacing Emil Jurado), Gaudencio Renato Goco (replacing Dante Canlas), and Carlo Cruz (replacing Ma. Gladys Cruz-Sta. Rita) as board directors until June 30, 2014. Aquino nominated Gatmaitan for president and chief executive officer, replacing Victorino Bala. Gatmaitan was president of Creative Graphics Studio since 2004 and president of Colorplus Production Group Corp. since 1996. Philexim At the Philippine Export-Import Credit Agency (Philexim), Aquino appointed Francisco Magsajo Jr., Jay Yuvallos, Kasigod Jamias, and Benigno Zialcita III as board directors until June 30, 2013. Magsajo, former RCBC president and CEO, has been president and CEO of Philexim since 2008. Aquino has nominated him for those same positions. LBP-IBI At the Land Bank of the Philippines Insurance Brokerage Inc., the President appointed Tomas de Leon Jr., Jesus Diaz, Yolanda Velasco, Alan Bornas, Reynauld Villafuerte, German de los Santos Caccam, David Corpin, Leonora Resolis, Daisy Macalino, Filipina Monje and Vergel Cruz as board directors until June 30, 2013. LBP-IBI president and CEO Diaz was nominated by Aquino to the same positions. De Leon, nominated as chairman by Aquino, was director of Land Bank Resources and Development Corp.— BM, GMA News
