NGCP: Power outage in Tarlac City Oct 1

Parts of Tarlac province may expect a power interruption on Wednesday, October 1, the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines said.

In an advisory, the NGCP said the scheduled outage from 8 a.m. to 12 noon in the Tarlac City sector will make way for repairs.

The NGCP said the outage will "facilitate correction of critical hot spot at Concepcion Substation" and could cover more than just Tarlac City.

"Specific cities and municipalities that may be affected are determined by the distribution utility, unless the activity will have an effect on the entire franchise area," according to the NGCP. — Joel Locsin/ELR, GMA News
