List of flights canceled due to Typhoon Ruby


(Updated 8:33 a.m., Dec. 5) Cebu Pacific announced Thursday that nine of its flights on Dec. 5 have been canceled due to Typhoon Ruby.
 
In a travel advisory posted on its website on Thursday, the airline said the following domestic flights on Dec. 5 are canceled:
 
  • 5J 785 / 786      Manila – Butuan – Manila
  • 5J 787 / 788      Manila – Butuan – Manila
  • 5J 791 / 792      Manila – Butuan – Manila
  • 5J 219 / 220     Cebu – Butuan – Cebu
  • 5J 223 / 224     Cebu – Butuan – Cebu
  • 5J 873 / 874      Cebu – Surigao – Cebu
  • 5J 875 / 876      Cebu – Surigao – Cebu
  • 5J 877 / 878      Cebu – Siargao – Cebu
  • 5J 3891 / 3892   Cebu – Tandag – Cebu

At least four more domestic flights were canceled early Friday due to bad weather, the Department of Transportation and Communications said.

Cebu Pacific said passengers affected by the canceled flights may avail of free rebooking for travel within 30 days from original departure date or full refund or travel fund.
 
In addition, passengers traveling from Dec. 5 to Dec. 8 on other Cebu Pacific flights may avail until Dec. 12 without additional charges—rebooking for travel within seven days from original departure date or full refund or travel fund.
 
Ruby intensified and continued to move toward Eastern Visayas, according to state weather agency PAGASA. A total of 34 areas have been placed under storm signals as of early Friday. — Kathryn Mae P. Tubadeza/JDS/KG, GMA News
