MIAA announces cancellation of over 200 Dec. 8 flights due to Typhoon Ruby

(Updated 1:18 p.m.) More than 200 flights have been canceled due to the threat of bad weather conditions from Typhoon Ruby (Hagupit), the Manila International Airport Authority said.

Shortly before noon, PAGASA said Ruby has weakened into a tropical storm.

CAAP: Naga Airport open, Caticlan Airport to open for operations at noon

 

Meanwhile, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines said Naga Airport was opened as of 11 a.m. 

 

After being closed last weekend, Caticlan Airport will be open for operations at noon Monday, the CAAP said.
