Dominguez has change of heart, accepts Duterte’s offer to become finance secretary

Businessman Sonny Dominguez had "a change of heart" and has accepted incoming president Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte's offer for him to take on the job as the country's next secretary of finance, GMA News' Ian Cruz has reported.

The announcement was made by Duterte's spokesman, Attorney Salvador Panelo.

Duterte earlier said that Dominguez said sorry and begged off from taking on the post.

It was Dominguez who announced the Duterte's administration's eight-point economic agenda. —NB, GMA News
