Over 10,000 jobs available online — DOLE


More than 10,000 job vacancies can be accessed by job seekers through the Department of Labor and Employment's (DOLE) online job portal.

According to the DOLE, its internet-based job and applicant matching system PhilJobNet has recorded this week a total of 10,045 new active vacancies in the local employment industry.

In her report to Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III, Bureau of Local Employment (BLE) Director Dominique Tutay said positions for call center agents, staff nurse, and non-formal education teacher, are among the top 20 vacancies recorded by the PhilJobNet portal.

Positions for call center agents, at 1,876, lead the most number of vacancies in the government-run online job portal.

Other job vacancies up for grabs are for customer service assistant (778), staff nurse (679), non-formal education teacher (648), promo salesperson (635), production machine operator (594), sales clerk (561), sales associate professional (522), manufacturing laborer (495), and waiter (431).

More positions awaiting job seekers are the following: door-to-door salesperson (375), automotive mechanic (297), telecommunication specialist (297), technical support staff (287), cashier (285), salesman (275), service crew (264), retail trade salesman (255), financial/accounts apecialist (251), and sugar production machine operator (240).

A jobseeker who is at least 15 years old may register as a job applicant in the PhilJobNet (www.philjobnet.gov.ph).

An employer or establishment duly recognized by Philippine business authorizing agencies and with existing Tax Identification Number (TIN) can also register in the online job portal.
