PLDT Online completes partial sale of Rocket Internet shares

PLDT Inc. said on Monday that Rocket Internet SE has accepted 6.8 million Rocket shares tendered by PLDT Online Investments Pte. Ltd. at an offer price of €24 per share.

The total consideration is €163.2 million, PLDT Inc. reported to the Philippine Stock Exchange on Monday.

“Rocket will settle the consideration on or before May 14, 2018,” the company noted.

“As a result of the sale, PLDT Online’s equity ownership in Rocket was reduced from 6.1 percent to 2.0 percent,” it said. —VDS, GMA News
