Pay hike to be implemented for minimum wage earners in Northern Mindanao
Minimum wage earners in Northern Mindanao will be granted an increase by November, according to a report on Unang Balita.
The wage increase range from twenty pesos to thirty-five pesos.
For non-agricultural workers, pay hike is peggd at P365.
for agricultural workers in Cagayan de Oro, Iligan, and some towns in Misamis Oriental will have an increase of up to P353.
Wage hike for non agricultural workers in Malaybay, Valencia City, Gingoog, El Salvador, Ozamiz, Opol, Maramag, Quezon, Manolo Fortich, and Lugait will be P358 and P346 for agricultural workers.
In Oroquieta, Tangub, Laguindingan, Mambajao, and Balingasag non-agricultural workers will be given a wage hike of up to P350 while agricultural workers will have P338.
For other areas for retail and service establishments in the region with up to 10 employees, the minimum wage hike for non-agricultural sector is pegged at P343 and P331 for agricultural sector.
The wage hike order does not include the salaries of domestic helpers and workers in barangay Micro-business enterprises. — BAP, GMA News
