Big-time fuel price hike seen next week —Unioil

Pump prices of petroleum products are expected to go up in the coming week, oil player Unioil Petroleum Philippines said Saturday.

In its weekly fuel price forecast for June 16 to 22, Unioil said the price per liter of diesel is seen to increase by P1.00.

Meanwhile, gasoline price is projected to go up between P1.00 and P1.10 per liter.

Latest available data from the Department of Energy showed the prevailing pump prices of gasoline range between P38.92 to P48.80 per liter, while diesel prices range from P28.85 to P35.08 per liter.

Year-to-date adjustments stood at a net decrease of P7.97 per liter for gasoline and P11.09 per liter for diesel. —Ted Cordero/LBG, GMA News
