Fuel prices to go up anew next week —Unioil


Motorists may need to brace for higher retail prices of petroleum products in the coming week, according to projections by Unioil Petroleum Philippines.

In its fuel price forecast for September 28 to October 4, 2021 trading week, Unioil said the price per liter of diesel may increase by P0.90 to P1.00.

Likewise, gasoline prices are seen to go up by P0.60 to P0.70 per liter.

Oil companies usually announce price adjustments every Monday to be implemented on the following day.

Effective Tuesday, September 21, fuel firms implemented a price hike of P0.80 per liter for gasoline, and P0.80 per liter increase for diesel.

Gasoline prices range from P47.85 to P60.50 per liter while diesel prices range between P38.45, and P46.80 per liter.

Year-to-date adjustments to stand at a total net increase of P14.55 per liter for gasoline and P12.05 per liter for diesel. —Ted Cordero/LBG, GMA News
