Fuel price hike seen next week —Unioil

Motorists may need to brace for another round of increase in the pump prices of petroleum products in the coming week.

In its fuel price forecast for December 21 to 27 trading week, Unioil said the price per liter of diesel may increase by P0.50 to P0.60.

Meanwhile, gasoline prices may go up by P0.50 to P0.60 per liter.

Fuel firms usually announce price adjustments every Monday to be implemented on the following day.

Effective December 14, 2021,  oil companies implemented a price increase of P1.60 per liter for gasoline and P1.35 per liter for diesel.

Year-to-date adjustments stand at a total net increase of P17.30 per liter for gasoline and P14.40 per liter for diesel. —Ted Cordero/LBG, GMA News
