Marcos to Pinoys: Take selfies with local products to help MSMEs

President Ferdinand ''Bongbong'' Marcos Jr. on Thursday urged the public to maximize the use of social media in order to promote Philippine products.

During his speech at the distribution of assistance to farmers and fisherfolk in Iligan City, Marcos said this would help the country's micro small medium enterprises (MSMEs) to promote local products in their areas.

(Here in Iligan, I know that toasted peanut and palapa are very famous. If you bring one, take a selfie with the product and post it on social media.)

(It's a simple thing but this will greatly help us to promote our local products. Besides social media is very famous right now.)

Marcos said that through Negosyo centers and Shared Service Facilities of the Department of Trade and Industry, MSMEs are being provided with assistance in order to improve their businesses.
