Diesel price rollback seen at P20.89/liter; gasoline, kerosene down too —DOE
The pump prices of diesel may decrease by P20.89 per liter, while that of gasoline may be down by P4.43 per liter and kerosene cut by P8.50 per liter this week, Department of Energy (DOE) Secretary Sharon Garin said Sunday.
The estimated price adjustments are for April 14 (Tuesday) to April 20 (Monday), Garin said in a Facebook post.
"It’s based on the average of the last 5 days international prices and comparing that to the average of the previous week," she said.
Garin said pump prices differ among gas stations, but the price adjustment estimates are the minimum rollback or bawas presyo.

Meanwhile, in an interview on Super Radyo dzBB on Sunday morning, Garin said the prices of fuel products in the country may no longer return to P60 per liter due to structural damage caused by the Middle East conflict.
Garin said the conflict remains unpredictable, and repairs to oil-related facilities could take a long time, even with de-escalation. —KG, GMA News
