Motorists will have to tighten their wallets as fuel products will see a price hike starting Tuesday, August 18, 2026, after weeks of price rollback, the Department of Energy (DOE) said.

In an advisory, the DOE said gasoline prices will be up by ₱2.49 per liter across all grades—RON 91 (regular unleaded), RON 95 (premium unleaded), and RON 97 (high-octane unleaded).

Diesel prices, including Diesel Plus, will increase by ₱3.84 per liter.

Kerosene will have the highest increase of P5.01 per liter.

The higher pump prices will be in effect from August 18 to 24, 2026.

Further, the DOE said that the country's fuel supply is still good for around 58 days.

As of Aug. 14, the DOE said the estimated number of days of available supply for the following petroleum products is as follows:

  • Gasoline: 55.26 days
  • Diesel - 57.55 days
  • Kerosene - 164.01 days
  • Jet Fuel - 111.86 days
  • Fuel Oil - 49.79 days
  • LPG - 40.22 days
