Hyundai's 'Santa Fe' gets plug-in hybrid variant
Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) has unveiled a hybrid version of its midsize crossover SUV, Santa Fe.
The company said the "electric motors provide excellent driving comfort thanks to improved performance technology."
The all-new "plug-in" Santa Fe comes in two variants:

Hyundai says this hybrid crossover features e-Motion Drive, which means "vibration is controlled to ensure smooth acceleration, while handle performance has been improved to ensure stable cornering and turning."
It also has an "e-DTVC" which allows brakes and motors to work together to achieve torque vectoring in the steering direction during sharp turns.
During sharp turns, the brakes and motors work together to achieve torque vectoring in the steering direction, improving handling performance and driving safety.
There's also the "e-Handling" to ensure maximum grip during urgent steering and reduces vehicle slip.

The Santa Fe hybrid also has a feature that determines whether the vehicle is stuck in a congested traffic area by combining the information gathered from its GPS navigation and the driving condition of the vehicle.
It also has what it calls "Smart Regenerative Braking" which means that the vehicle analyzes traffic condition and autonomously adjusts regenerative braking level for even more efficient driving experience.

Inside, is the Infotainment system displays information about hybrid driving, such as electric motor usage and fuel efficiency.
Hyundai described the Santa Fe hybrid as "the best of both worlds: electric when you want it, petrol when you need it. You can easily get electricity with plug-in charging port." —VAL, GMA Integrated News
