PSE to hold 2nd stock market briefing in Cebu

In a bid to further educate the public about opportunities in investing in the local bourse, the Philippine Stock Exchange will hold another free stock market briefing on March 10 in Cebu City. The PSE, with support from the PSE Foundation and Philam Life Asset Management Inc., will hold the free seminar inside the Arctic Hall of Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino from 1 to 6 p.m. Francis Lim, PSE president and chief executive officer, said the PSE will return to Cebu in response to the strong interest of Cebuanos to the seminar. "We are extremely pleased that the response to our investor education drive has been very positive not only in Metro Manila but also in other parts of the country," he said. "The increasing percentage of local participation in the daily value turnover this year is a clear proof that our stock market is regaining the trust and confidence of our local investors," he added.-GMANews.TV
