P100 'Pahiyas' commemorative coin available at BSP online store on May 21
The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) on Tuesday announced that a commemorative coin featuring Lucban, Quezon’s Pahiyas Festival will be available for purchase on its online store starting Thursday, May 21, morning.
In a social media post, the BSP said the commemorative coin, with a legal tender value of P100, is “available for purchase only at the BSP Online Store for P5,000.00 per coin.”
“Supply is limited,” the BSP said.
Featured on the coin's design are San Isidro Labrador and the kiping, the main decoration of the Pahiyas Festival.
The BSP said the Pahiyas coin is the fifth in its“Pista sa Pilipinas” Commemorative Coin Series, which consists of 12 silver coins.
The series highlights various cultural and tourism festivals of the country.
One coin is released each month through 2026, coinciding with the celebration of the featured festival.
