PNP’s COVID-19 tally tops 3,000

The tally of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases within the Philippine National Police (PNP) breached the 3,000 mark on Tuesday after 55 more personnel tested positive, raising the total to 3,035, the PNP reported Tuesday.

The PNP also reported that the number of personnel who have recovered from the respiratory illness rose to 2,221.

Meanwhile, the death toll remained at 13.

The PNP added that there were 2,417 suspected COVID-19 cases and 760 other probable cases among its ranks.

Personnel experiencing COVID-19 symptoms were urged to reach out to the PNP Health Service.

Nationwide, COVID-19 has infected at least 169,213 Filipinos.  — Julia Mari Ornedo/BM, GMA News
