Raymart, Claudine file complaint vs Mon Tulfo, study raps vs columnist's brothers

Actor Raymart Santiago and wife Claudine Barretto on Wednesday afternoon filed criminal charges against columnist Ramon Tulfo over a scuffle at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 last Sunday.

The couple lodged a complaint for violation of Republic Act 7610 or the anti-child abuse law and slight physical injuries before the Pasay City Prosecutor's Office, according to a report by radio dzBB's Mao dela Cruz.

But the couple is also studying added charges against Tulfo's brothers — Ben, Raffy and Erwin — over threats they reportedly aired on their television program last Monday, the same report said. Tulfo earlier filed a complaint of slight physical injuries and grave coercion against Santiago and Barretto.  Tight security

Before the arrival of the celebrity couple, security was tightened at the Pasay City Prosecutor's Office.

Employees and media representatives crowded the corridors of the building while waiting for the couple to arrive, radio dzBB's Sam Nielsen reported.

Many of the employees brought mobile phone cameras with which to take photos of the Santiago couple.

Santiago and Tulfo engaged in a scuffle at the NAIA 3 last Sunday after Tulfo took footage of Barretto scolding a ground crew of Cebu Pacific for offloading their baggage from Boracay.

Santiago said Tulfo hit him when he approached Tulfo to ask what he was doing. Tulfo claimed Santiago and some companions ganged up on him. — RSJ, GMA News
