Boy found dead in Manila Bay near U.S. embassy

Manila police are investigating what caused the death of a boy whose body was recovered from a part of Manila Bay near the United States Embassy Monday.

 

The Manila Police District said the boy was found floating near the embassy premises, radio dzBB's Manny Vargas reported early Tuesday.

 

Homicide investigators described the boy as 10 to 14 years old, and wearing blue shorts and a white T-shirt.

 

The boy was initiallly rushed to a nearby hospital but was declared dead on arrival. The body was brought to a local funeral home. — ELR, GMA News
